Care Guide
Beautifully worn is the point.
Fine leather was never meant to remain untouched.
It softens where you walk. It deepens in color. The creases settle into place until no two pairs look exactly alike. This natural evolution is what gives leather its character—and your shoes their own story.
With a little care, they'll accompany you for years.
Everyday Care
After Each Wear
Remove dust and surface dirt with a soft horsehair brush or dry cloth. Allow your shoes to rest between wears so the leather can breathe and naturally release moisture.
For best results, insert cedar shoe trees after each wear to help preserve the shape and minimize creasing.
Conditioning
Every Few Months
Leather, much like skin, benefits from occasional nourishment. When the leather begins to look dry, apply a small amount of quality leather conditioner using a soft cloth, working it gently into the surface with circular motions.
Allow the conditioner to absorb fully before lightly buffing with a horsehair brush to restore the leather's natural finish. Regular conditioning helps prevent drying and keeps the leather supple over time.
If They Get Wet
Allow your shoes to dry naturally at room temperature.
Avoid direct heat, radiators, or prolonged sunlight, which can dry the leather and lead to cracking. Once fully dry, condition the leather to restore its natural oils.
Storage
Store your shoes in the cotton dust bags provided, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
For longer periods of storage, cedar shoe trees will help maintain their shape while naturally absorbing moisture and odor.
A Note on Patina
Scuffs will appear.
The leather will darken.
The finish will become uniquely yours.
These are not imperfections—they are evidence of a life well lived.
The finest leather doesn't stay pristine.
It becomes personal.
